My grandmother was a preacher and was a major influence in my life. My personal relationship with Jesus has been my greatest joy.  I love murder mysteries, read all of Agatha Christie's books growing up and am ready to read them again! The blood and guts are not appealing to me but the deducting and tracking the killer is the part I enjoy. And the danger that lurks in every corner. I've loved watching everything from Charlie Chan movies to Murder She Wrote and now am hooked on NCIS and Criminal Minds. If I have to choose between a romantic book and a murder mystery I choose 'murder most foul' . I am a story teller and like to entertain friends and co-workers with the silly things that happen in life.  My mother created in me an interest in reading books.  Most parents read to their children, my mother made me read to her  and I developed a love of reading, of going on a journy beyond myself and not  having  to leave the couch.  Another  person who influenced my life was my fifth grade teacher, Miss Kraus.  She would read to the class and we'd have to wait till the next class to hear what happened and it made me want to get a hold of a book and read it through for myself to see what was happening next.
