I was born and raised on the west coast of the United States.  I moved to Oregon when I was younger and can't imagine living anywhere else.  I raised three kids on my own and have been writing since I was old enough to hold a book. With the indie publishing of my first book, I feel that as a writer I had reached a milestone in my life.  Do I continue writing or try something else?  Writing won out and I have been going nuts ever since.  I love to write and read.  I especially love the interaction between fellow indie writers and their enthusiasm for the art.  I've written a couple of children's books that I am waiting to be illustrated and am part way through the next book in the Chasing History series.  I am part founder and reviewer of Pink Phoenix Press (pinkphoenix.webs.com), maintain two blogs (pinkphoenixrr.blogspot.com and bysueowen.blogspot.com) and my own Author's web site bysueowen.webs.com as well as work full time.
