Miss Brown, art teacher, Glen Cove, NY was my first influence. Since then I've painted (Clyde Bruno), written books (Dominic Caruso), short stories,  invented and instructed in animation, graphics and advertising at the 'Professional Institute of Commercial Art' of Baltimore MD. My latest interest is ebooks and the publication/sales there of... ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~                                               About the Author Normal 0 ABOUT THE AUTHO Dominic Caruso, the sole surviving son of Francesco “Cheech” Caruso, is 75 years old. At the age of 16 he was approached by his father to write his life story. Unable to deal with it, he put it off until he returned from Sicily in 1959, at which time he told his father that he didn’t know when, but he would do it and he did in fact write the story. Born and raised in New York City, he served in the U.S. Navy for four years.  After military service, he studied at the Professional Institute of Commercial Art at  Reisterstown, Baltimore, specializing in commercial and graphic art, fashion illustration, advertising and animation.  He later served as an graphics/animation instructor at the Institute and authored an Animation 101 manual for use by future students.     

I made it to 78 and I'm in good condition for the shape I'm in. I have a number of friends and old shipmates that will never see 78. Much to my regret. Its not a certification or Award, but it is an achievement.
