I studied writing and art at Bismarck State College. I have also studied writing with the Institute of Children's Literature. I have been researching and studying the supernatural since I was a teenager. I have published twelve books, over two hundred articles and some poetry. I was born and raised in Mandan, North Dakota where I met and married my husband Howard. I have two children, five grandchildren and two great grandchildren. I am also an artist specializing in landscapes and abstract. I work with people with developmental disabilities. I have done so for seven years. This is the most rewarding job that I have ever had next to writing.   I love animals and have rescued several. I hope to open an animal shelter one day. Much of the time, I write what people would consider horror, supernatural thrillers. I have always believed that there is another world out there. I believe that there is an age old battle between good and evil. And until that battle is over, I write about it. Evil is out there. And I think that too many people are too afraid to admit it. They ignore it and brush it under the rug. Then when evil comes into their lives in one form or another, they blame God. I write to inform people of the truth about evil. I have been accused of having a black heart. When really, I am simply aware. And I want people to know how easily something can creep into their lives.   I was digging through some old papers from my college days. I decided to go through some poems that I wrote back then. I have published them in book form.  I love poetry, and hope that people enjoy my work. They are mostly poems about the bumps and bruises of life. Many of the books I write are for my little sister, Julie. We are only eleven months apart. And we have always been very close. She loves to read and I love to write. She is a huge fan of the paranormal. We share many interests. And my works have been known to spiral out from the conversations that we have. I wish I could have been there for her more when we were children. She would know what I'm talking about. My books  hopefully soothe the bruises of her life. God Bless her.
