Information
My motivation for writing poetry is being a survivor of a dark and abusive childhood reinforced by the Professors @ Langston Univ. the "Bea Hive," (a local library in Okc, Ok), and the many women (mentors) that God Has placed in my life, such as, Bea Hazley, Thomasena Martin-Johnson, and lastly but, not least, Mrs. Nawassa Hooks, and I dare not leave out my husband Reverend Layton White, who believes I am the best thing since sliced wheat bread. lol.

Accomplishments
As a retired Sgt. I am honored to have four Army Achievement medals along with several other awards and combat ribbons. I I currently have two months left to receive my B.A in English Ed. With three months left of a four year journey in completing my Evangelism course. I am most proud of my achievement in being a loving wife, mother, and grandmother.
