I was born and raised in Hartford, Connecticut. At age 14, I was tennis champion of Hartford for my age group. Some years later, I was a candidate Grand Master Chess player. My writing career began at the University of Connecticut where I won awards for my writing.

Information
Instead of becoming a writer, I became a printer and toiled in that profession for 31 years. In the back of my mind, I still wanted to write. At age 47, I retired and relocated to the Florida Keys. For the following 20 plus years, I traveled the world, fished, and resurrected my writing career. I have written seven novels: three adventure stories, three mysteries and one fantasy story. I am presently living in the upstate of South Carolina, the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains.
Accomplishments
I am the former treasurer of the Treasure Coast Writers Guild of Florida and a member of the library in Fort Pierce, Florida and the library in Stuart, Florida. I am also a member of the Florida Writers Association, the Spartanburg library in South Carolina, HUB-BUB, and the Knights of Columbus.
