This book was written for children to stress the importance of being able to choose who gets to hug or touch them and being able to say NO if they don't want to be hugged or touched.
Writing for children and young adults has been a rewarding and "fun" experience. Young people have been helping me stay "young" for many years! in addition, writing for adults is also quite satisfying. I am pleased that all my books have been well received by schools, libraries and bookstores.

I enjoy the world of "children", and the age group 8-l4 has been a familiar teaching assignment. The JEANNIE, A TEXAS FRONTIER GIRL series (Books One,Two,Three, and Four are published, and are based on family historical fact. The setting is in the Eastland/Ranger, Texas, area (60 miles from Abilene, Texas). I enjoy traveling the USA and especially treasure our American heritage and our history. My goal in writing for children, teens, and adults is to follow a theme with a message that will entertain, inform, inspire, and enrich the reading experience.
