Newly published is a kids book, THE LEI DAY PRINCESS, about a little girl in school in Hawaii who always messes up. Nobody likes her, of course. But through clever planning and a whiff of magic, she overcomes that.  Recently published and available is, "Mingling with Muslims: Making Friends and Teaching English in Bangladesh." It follows publication of my book about what happened in Thaiand's tribal areas, "What the Witch Doctor Taught Me." Then, there's another kids' book, "The Dragon Who Stole the Holidays," a short chapter book about a dragon and pirates. It's  a fiction ebook for kids 7-12 years old, available on a dozen or so ereaders including Kindle and Nook. Chicken Soup for the Soul has published two of my articles. Read them in "Finding My Faith" and "Miracles Happen." Yep, I've been blessed--and busy!   Many countries around the world have been my home, with Thailand and Bangladesh my most recent long-term residences. I've been a classroom teacher, an ESL tutor, a real estate agent, and Director of Christian Education in a Manassas, Virginia, Methodist church. Through the years, dozens of my articles and stories have appeared in magazines and newspapers. Now, I speak to book clubs and other groups, and teach writing workshops. I skype Bible teachings into Pakistan every week to a women's church group. God has blessed me with a healing ministry and many, many people have been healed in person, by telephone, or by skype.
