I became an avid reader at age 12 when I read my first full length novel, "It" by Stephen King. Over the next 4 years I read every Stephen King book. Also during that time I found Dean Koontz, John Saul, and Clive Barker. Soon thereafter, I found my true love Anne Rice (she's a widow now maybe I should go to New Orleans). After I became an adult and had read almost everything worth reading in the horror genre, including Poe and Lovecraft, I finally moved on the other types of fiction. Sidney Sheldon, Michael Crichton, Clive Cussler and Dan Brown are among my favorites now.
