Information
Living in a river town is different. Ask anyone from Cincinnati, Ohio or Louisville, Kentucky. The river defines our boundaries, marks our history, and gives us identity. It brings us together for ballgames, boat races and bluegrass festivals. When it floods it separates us from everything we love.
The river also inspires poetry.
While not all my poems are about life on the Ohio RIver, they reflect its rhythm and moods, and hopefully will carry the reader to bigger places.
I reside in Cincinnati, Ohio with family nearby. My poetry has appeared in The Cincinnati Review, The Cincinnati Historical Society Press, Penwood Review, Taj Mahal Review, Paula Brown Press, and Blue Mountain Arts.
