I grew up as an African American female in racially segregated Florida. I learned how to survive verbal, mental and emotional abuse. I had to drink water from a fountain with a sign that read "white and Negro" and ride on the back of the bus. This forced me to work on my self-worth and self-esteem on a daily basis. Today, I teaches others how to overcome any challenge and emerge a victor.
