Robert G Barlow: Law Enforcement Career Mentor, fiction writer of speculative, fantasy, science fiction and humor.


Background Information

Robert Barlow has served as a police officer since 1995. As a police detective he investigated homicide, rape, robbery, buglary, and identity theft. As a field training officer he mentors new police officers. As a school resource officer he works to prevent school violence and to provide law enforcement career guidance to students. He is also the author of thirteen published fiction stories in the genres of humor, speculative fiction, fantasy and science fiction.  

Accomplishments

Robert Barlow received a Writer's Choice award in 2006 on the writers network Edit Red for his story "The Night Watch."
