I always loved English Comp both in high school and college. Writing 3-6 page stories was great fun for me and once I got going it was hard to stop. I am an avid reader and love what I call "simple" poetry that tells a story. I love history and being a Boomer, I have certainly lived some. I would like to draw on this love to do some of my writing. I have never had the time to write but now that both my children and my husband have left the nest, I think it's time to do some of the things I have always wanted to do. I love the George Eliot quote "It is never too late to be who you might have been".
