As a Human Resource Professional my motivation has always been the pursuit of honest and meaningful relationships with my Family, Friends and co-workers.    It's not surprising, then, that parents Coburn and Betty Buxton nurtured and instilled a great sense and appreciation of Family and history in me.  Continuing to follow the Buxton, Littlefield and associated Families, I celebrate our defeats and victories especially with a 2006 CD biography of Colonel G. Edward Buxton, Jr. via Zalo: An Uncommon Man, The Biography of Colonel Gonzalo Edward Buxton, Jr.     Earned a degree in Anthropology from Ole Miss where I joined and reman a proud member of the Sigma Phi Epsilon Fraternity.  I have continued my appreciation of the cultures of the world by collaborating with Brother John Buxton of Shango Galleries and Antiques RoadShow fame.   Compiled and wrote Himself & Friends, History of the Kingdome of Raknar a recently completed and soon to be published account of Friendships within the Scottish Community and snapshot of the life of a great first generation American of Scottish parentage, one Robert Alexander Swanson.   My motivation, thusly, are my Friends and Family and those special folks who cross our paths and make us richer for that experience.
