Lets see...I have been teaching kindergarten in GA for four years now.   I would definiltey have to say that teaching has its ups and downs.  I definitely would say that my first two years were not the greatest but were fantastic learning experiences! I got married in June 2007 and went on a fabulous honeymoon to Ireland.  We had such a wonderful time. I have tons of memories and photos that will last me a lifetime.  Well planning my wedding I was also completing my masters degree.  While in one of my classes I read an interesting article that had one small paragraph about how children can use their bodies to form letters.  So to teach this to my kindergarten students I decided to create and illustrate a book that demonstrated this concept.  I also put in simple sentences about things that start with each letter of the alphabet.  I wanted the simple sentences so when the students in my kindergarten class are reading they would be able to finally pick up an alphabet book and read it themselves! I have enjoyed creating the alphabet book and the shapes book.  I also enjoy writing some poetry and telling other stories about my personal life that do not always have to deal with my education.  I love to be creative and love it even more when I do something that I am proud of.  Other things that I enjoy are reading, playing sudoku, renovating our house, and learning how to play songs on my keyboard.
