My major influences are from my family. My dad is a pastor and we grew up in a black church. I write a lot about our experiences in church and some of the underhanded things that go on in churches. Some people dont know that there are things such as rape, pornography, and much more that goes on in these churches.  They are just kept secret and it is hurting the victims of these crimes. I feel people need to come out and get some help for these things that have happend to them. I write in fiction, but come on, some of these may be true to some people. I dont want to hurt anyone, I just want the victims to get help.   I also write about special gifts that I have seen myself.  They are Spiritual gifts that I believe God gives to people, disernment being one of them.  Believe it or not I am fully in love with the Lord, but "I" believe he is displeased with the things that go on in "His" churches today.  I've never personally experienced these things...or have I? Despite my writings falling under criticism from the Christian world and some of my family, my father (the pastor), and his congregation fully support and pray for me.
