Many of the memories are such a part of us that people still talking about them 50+ years later! The heyday is more about feelings and emotions than an actual place. It was a land where childhood fueled the imagination and blossoming teen years took on a life of its own with unique social behaviors and norms. Grandma may have worn go-go boots, bright blue eye shadow, no bra and a mini-skirt clear up to her…, well, never mind! Or Grandpa could have been a bad boy on a motorcycle!
