I am a writer located in Central Florida. I have been through much in life as most people have. My most recent experiences in writing is for helium.com. I have also had several articles published in magaizines and online. Most recently I have become an editor/freelance writer for a local newspaper. I have experience in the things that I write about and if I don't I will research until I find the best information to compile the written items that are needed. I just had a book published called Roses For Maria. I hope that you will read it and be enlightened by it. It is my beleif that there are many women, in spite of new laws, that are hiding the fact that they are being abused by the one that they love. Domestic violence is a big issue and believe it or not, it is still being hidden. This book was written to inspire, empower, and encourage all women to be the best that they can be and to never settle for abuse or neglect. I hope to keep learning to be the best writer that I can be. It is my dream to become totally financially dependent upon my writing and I feel that I am on the right path for that to happen. I love to freelance as it gives me the freedom that I need to take care of my daughter and to provide a roof over her head. I am currently the assistant editor for one of our local newspapers and I also write most of the stories for that paper.  I have also landed a freelance position in editing for a newspaper that is two counties away!   

My greatest achievement would have to be my children.
