I'm a graphic artist (old school) and writer. I'm currently working on a novel, outlining a second, and in the midst of two non-fiction books. Books: Ghost Towns c.1988 & 100 Medical Milestones That Shaped World History c.1998 I've been a reader since the day I was big enough to pick up a book and realize that those shapes on the page could take me to another world, beyond the mundane. When I grew up and found out that I could be a graphic artist (that's what we called it back then) and work on books, books, books, oh my, I was literally in heaven on earth! I worked for American Graphic Systems in San Francisco, with Bill Yenne for about 10 years. I must say, those were the best years of my career. Thanks to Bill and his partner in Bluewood Books, Rich Michaels, I had the opportunity to write two non-fiction books. Now, having written and published in the non-fiction arena, I'm working on my own fiction. In a way, I'm following in the footsteps of my former boss and mentor, Bill Yenne. Thank you Bill!
