I have always been interested in writing.  From a young age I started writing short stories and some simple poetry and as I grew older my skills advanced and I am now to the point where I can write full length poems and short stories that I can be proud of.  I am only in high school now so my background is somewhat limited but I strive every year to accomplish my writing goals. My influences are many and very diverse.  Each influence has helped me to develop my skills and become a stronger writer.  I have read some of the works by Leo Tolstoy including War and Peace, Anna Karenina and various other russian works by other authors.  I get most of my influence from historical pieces, many of them being non fiction and biographical.  I am very interested in History, politics and current events and draw my creativity from many world issues and leaders. One of my biggest influences and one of the main reasons why I write is for my Role Model, Ernesto "Che" Guevara.  Though I am not a communist I believe in many things that he idealized and dreamed of.  He inspires me to be all that I can be and to help make a change in the world.  That change being an end to injustice, poverty, greed and powerhousing countries.  I like to write to get people thinking about current issues.  I like evoking thought and emotion, balancing on the edge of a knife to prove my points.  I like being an innovator, going against the norm, and challenging others to voice their opinions.  I want to inspire others to be the best they can be and inspire the future generations to come.
