Writing for me is an outlet for my imagination and desire to share my views with others. I've always felt and heard an inner voice that urged me to write and express myself. My family of orgin used to chide me for my overactive imagination, yet that is the driving force behind what I write about. And also imagining what another person is thinking, feeling or what kind of life he lives when he isn't out in publi with his friends.        As a child, writing was the friend I didn't have. Most writers are readers, my Mom used to tell me. I was a slow reader, yet I loved to write and imagine and watch television. Through college, studying English and  literature, I learned to love reading books- though before I only used books to research. I could spend my whole time in a library just reading Shakespear, and Longfellow poetry.   The inspiration for my first book, Jamie and the Magic Digger Journey to Senlinola, (2007 published through Publish America) was inspired by my son when he was two years-old. He asked me to tell him a bedtime story about himself, a friend and a digger. He called backhoes diggers. I made the digger magic so he could take the boys on journeys to other lands.    Now my desire to write is to fufill my life long dream to find success as a writer and hopefully win some awards.
