I am a child of immigrants and Silicon Valley thus I believe that anything is possible.  But, if it's worth having then you need to work very, very hard to achieve it. For years I advised technology and Internet companies but after having children found that world unsatisfying.  I wanted to create something of my own so I started writing. First came Captive, a novel about a terrorist and his interogator.  I wanted to understand why someone chose such a life.  The book had over 600,000 global downloads.  And now the sequel is in final revision stage...but moves the action to Egypt's revolution. Get Your Child To The Top just became available.  Book 2.  In it I share insights from CEOs, investors, educators and children on preparing children for the jobs of the future and not the world of the past.  And I provide answers and solutions not policy. I've also started a related website and publishing company:  www.laernn.com.  There is so much talent in the market place but most of it is ignored by the traditional publishing industry!  Get Your Child To The Top is the first release, with a few others in the cue.  Eventually, I plan to take on new authors publishing books for parents, kids or educators.  Feedback, thoughts, ideas and even submissions (but we're new, small and slow!!!) are welcome. Words can change the world or a person.  They move me and nothing makes me happier than getting lost in a book.  I also love yoga, my kids, world travel, newspapers and candy.
