My name is JD. I was the front man for the band Sofa King for many years as well as a music promoter and a slam poet. I quit all that three years ago to focus on film/novels. I have been writing now for 19 years, starting out as a slam poet in 1990. I represented O.C. CA in the nationals for slam poetry in 2000. I am originally from O.C., CA moving to Seattle, WA in 2000.

Information
I have been writing and performing for 20 years. I have just come out with my first book though I have many projects ready to go. My main goals currently are to write lyrics for people and to write and direct my own films.
I will be moving from Washington to Los Angeles soon to pursue this endeavor. I hope that all people find success within their aspirations and dreams as only then will we all find true contentment. Blessings and best. JD
