I write about what I know and am passionate about - in my case dogs in general and the German Shepherd in particular. I have been an animal lover my whole life. I have over 35 years of experience with this wonderful dog breed, the German Shepherd Dog. I got my first German Shepherd, a white one, when I was around 10 or so. Since that time I have almost always been owned by several German Shepherds. I have lived with them, bred them and been owned by them in literally every phase of their lives, from puppyhood to senior citizen, and while they were healthy and while they were sick too.
