History won't tell the story of a people as well as the way the story is told.  I love history and culture. My favorite childhood books were simply named "Stories from..." then the featured country. Our stories are who we are. The gift of telling stories is a gift from our Creator. I have been in nursing for 25 years and I remember with fondness the stories my patients have told me. I have worked as a guardian ad litem and with child abuse prevention. I am a casual observer of human nature and the quirky way life has of bringing us full circle and binding us together.

I am a mom, wife and best friend to my soul mate. I have a CNA, a CPR and an AA as an MA. George Bush SR. gave me a thank you for volunteer work. I got an award for a speech, a selling specialist plaque, and a brown belt in tae kwon do. Best of all, I have the love of a husband and son who are irreplaceable.
