Why Am I An Enthusiast of Afzal Shauq's Poetry ? Why am I an enthusiast of Afzal Shauq’s poetry? Better to hit upon the answer in my those three poems, I wrote for him. Hey My Muse Afzal Shauq !! ..' I ' I think, I can see you I can feel you and even then for the sake of wrapping up your attention, I have been staging different roles as an artist since long.. Tell me Afzal! haven't you ever traced it out in your tiny short but dramatic stories of poems?                                                                                                    ‘Kathy Bell’ First time I knew his name from my cousin Zila, who’s basically a painter / artist but she is fond of good poetry to read too. I remember , I appreciated her choice just after reading Afzal Shauq’s few poems. Because the magical outcomes  of his rich poems have inspired me a lot. Me and Zila discussed his poetry much and came to the result that, he’s an amazing and unique poet indeed. What’s the new-fangled in his poetry is the direct way of expression, wrapping up big narratives within few lines and astonishing questions, that he is raising professionally. He truly seems to be a semi philosophical poet with ground-breaking ideas. I still think of a fantasy and say it might be me, the only missing face of his search because I deem myself a part of his poetic themes but in fact that it’s not true.. because we haven’t yet been met up once but we know each other since long. The same question once Zila also raised .. means the one who read through his poetry considers itself the part of it. Hey My Muse Afzal Shauq!!.. ‘II’ I'm not a good dancer, but look at me, I’m dancing maybe for your pleasure sake and trying to pursue the steps of your fairy girl to dance with Yeah.., just to make you sleep with open eyes                                                                                                                                                                                                                            ‘Kathy Bell’ I wrote the above poem within no time and it’s architectural base must be base still inspired by the poetry of Afzal Shauq, because I really read repeatedly his whole poetry and got inspired to the limit touching my heart and soul. Sometimes, I really feel that may be I’m part of fairyland his thoughtful fantasies and used to dance with fairies of his dreams. Don’t why these feelings come across as I mentioned reluctantly in my above poem? Hey My Muse Afzal Shauq!! .. ‘III’ I'm not a good singer but I have been used to sing since the day I chased you out Yeah…, just to follow and feel the beats of your heart which are being rhythmically played for the song of eternal love                                                                                                       ‘Kathy Bell’ There are thousands of poets who have added their poetry in different sites but why Afzal Shauq is favorite to readers of different countries , different racial groups and different cultures even? Is he humanist in true sense or he proved to be a child of Adam’s family as he claims? His heart to heart job is successfully gainful and he might know the psyche of humankinds and write accordingly. I think yes, he is humanity promoting man rather then a poet of flowery words. I being his poetry fan and friend really love to recite his few of poems e.i ‘ The Eighth Color’ , Friendly Smile’ , Friend of Hundreds’, ‘ Love Ends Difference’, ‘ peace Formula’ defeated Soldiers’ and ‘Mona Lisa’. These poems are almost metaphor with visualized impressions and effects. What else to say about his poetry rather then to add that Dear Afzal Shauq! I’m really a fan of your thoughtful poetry with blind faith. God bless you. Here is my new poem for you my dear Afzal Shauq to make your claim about ‘Mona Lisa’ a huge Question … Mona Lisa of Afzal Shauq?
