Being part of the traveling healthcare industry has allowed us to see much of America while getting paid to do it!

Information
I worked for the US Army Corps of Engineers in Mobile, Alabama for 34 years. My jobs included everything from a draftsman to project manager (and just about every stop in between) on both large and small projects. My wife, Donna, began her nursing career in 1980, working her way up to Director of Cardiology at a major hospital. In 2002, she wanted to "step back" a little and become a travel nurse. Our book, Travel Nurse Insights: A Window to the World of Travel Nursing, reflects what we have learned and discovered during our travels. It includes the qualifications to be a traveler, choosing agencies, handling negotiations and contracts, taxes, and all the special little nuiances we discovered along the way. A special chapter called "The Darker Side of Traveling" reveals some of the interesting situations we have encountered. The book is hardcover with 312 pages,and includes 64 pages of color photos showing many of the places we have been. These alone will make you want to pack your camera and hit the road!
