I was raised by my mom in a single parent home in Cincinnati, Ohio and I was introduced to books at a very early age. My biggest influence was E. Lynn Harris his writing was superb i love the way he would weave the streets and chic all together and make you fall in love with both. He was one of the first novelist that wrote about men on the down low and that intrigued me. I also intertwine some of the complexities of that lifestyle into my own novels, Rejected You never know what you're gonna get and Two of a Kind Payback is a B**ch. My intentions when i started writing, were to stay on that path, but more people started to reveal themselves to me in my head, and i had to tell their stories also. A lot of people ask me if the characters in my novels actually exist and they do, but only in my mind.
