My foray into writing began while my daughter was battling cancer.  What started out as an occasional email to family and friends as a way to communicate her progress through treatment, grew into a memoir of our experiences.  A snapshot into the world of our family's battle against pediatric cancer, the list of recipients grew as well as the message of hope, joy and sorrow each email conveyed.  Alicia's Updates A Mothers Memoir of Pediatric Cancer is a story of our life and the lives of those around during the most stressful time in any familys life.
