She has written numerous articles about distance learning,  a chapter in a textbook, The Student Guide to Successful Online Learning (2003), a non-fiction book, Self Defense for Survival (2003) and romantic mystery, Winds of Gold (2009). Her new book Online Learning: A User-Friendly Approach for High School and College Students will be published in May 2010.  In her free time, she is often reading several books at the same time scattered around the house, in the car, and in the camping trailer. Leslie divides her time among her favorite pursuits: traveling, reading, writing, and teaching.
