Tumika Patrice Cain is a poet and writer whose first novel, Season of Change, has been published.  This author credits her love of writing to a second grade class assignment that sparked an interest in what would become her raison d'etre. Using writing as a ministry tool, Tumika's works center around the building and uplifting of the human spirit, as well as providing validation and a healing balm to those who are hurting.  Each day she seeks to live out the old adage of each one reach one, each one teach one.  She tries to remain open to teachable moments and to the opportunities life presents to pour into the lives of individuals. Tumika has been published in a number of anthologies, newsletters and periodicals.  Season of Change is her first novel.
