"Taking fantasy in a completely unique direction."   That's my motto, and my goal as a writer.  Shaped by a diverse library of science fiction, fantasy, and horror authors like Stephen King, Ray Bradbury,  Haruki Murakami, and others, I am driven to exploring original and unusual ideas of the science fiction and fantasy genres.  In the epic world of the Vein, I have stepped out into a new world, with a completely original mythos, in hopes to give readers a fresh take on fantasy, one which will intrigue and allure the audience with a new cast of heroes, villains, wonders, and terrors. When not pursuing the joy of writing my Vein novels or short stories, I am diligently filling my time with other things, such as being a husband and father, teaching junior high students the beauty of a foreign language, walking my fingers up and down a guitar or bass fretboard as fast as I can after dinner, and (my personal favorite) coming home after church and screaming madly at the questionable calls of football officials who throw those yellow flags at the worst times.
