Miriam obtained her B.A. in Sociology from Richard Stockton State College in Pomona, New Jersey.  Shortly thereafter, she decided to go to nursing school and received her Associates in Science in Nursing.  As well as being a mother of four daughters, Miriam has worked as a Registered Nurse for over twenty years.       In 1995-96, Miriam became addicted to the internet.  A year later, after she had "recovered" from the addiction, she wrote her story of the year she spent living to sign on to the computer.  At one point, one of Miriam's daughters came into the room and exclaimed, "It wasn't bad enough while you were addicted, now you are addicted to writing about the addiction!"  With that statement, her daughter threw 368 pages into the air and stomped out of the room.  A friend of Miriam's carefully compiled the unnumbered pages in their correct order. The "book" was sent to Miriam's closet where it remained for over  12 years.  In December 2009, while recovering from shoulder surgery, and once again caught with time on her hands, Miriam retrieved Caught in the Net and poured through the pages.  She couldn't believe her eyes.  The story was incredible!  She then published through Createspace.com   During this same period, she published Just Erase It, a spiritual approach to managing anxiety.  As a Registered Nurse, Miriam has taken care of many patients with anxiety.  She believes there is a drug free way to deal with minor to moderate anxiety so she wrote about it.      Years before Caught in the Net, Miriam published  short stories, poems, essays and insights into a collection entitled, Spiritual Treasures.   Miriam loves to write and if one reads her thoughts that she has put into print, they will know right away that she writes with truth and her heart  . . there is no mistake about it!
