I am a Circus Historian and a former Circus performer. I raised, trained and performed my own tigers for several years after having the opportunities to work for other owners of animals. I have always loved elephants. My love became an addicition to learn more about them. I started keeping track of the elephants by talking to elephant trainers, reading the entertainment journals, first hand knowledge and lots and lots of research.    My e-Book, America's Elephants, is all about the elephants that have traversed across this great country of ours for over two hundred years now. I started with an understanding of what an elephant was and the physical make-up of these lumbering giants.    I built my chapters around the various stories in the lives of these magnificient creatures. Chapters in my book cover the introduction of the elephant to America, what they eat and what they are not supposed to eat but will anyways, White elephants, the Circus, the Zoos, advertising with elephants, the greatest trainers this country has ever know, tragedies, the breeding programs and the future of the elephants in America and several organizations that are dedicated to preserving these animals in our Society.

I currently serve as the Secretary of the Circus Historical Society, Inc.
