A dream came true working in the accounting management field at a major brewery in Golden, Colorado. I enjoyed my occupation for nearly 30 years, and enjoy yet today taste-testing our product. Prior to my brewery adventure, Uncle Sam invited me to a four year journey. He wanted to show me the world and I saw more than I wanted to see. It started with a tour across the Atlantic to Europe, traveling to over 16 countries. That was followed by a flight across the very-long Pacific where I was greeted warmly in Saigon, So. Vietnam. I survived the year and returned to my wife, we had married six weeks before I shipped over to Vietnam. Retired from the beer business, I was fumbling around for a few years enjoying the time off, traveling, golfing and fishing. One evening, almost ten years ago, my Alma Mater invited me to participate in a college level history class discussing war experiences. After the class, the professor told us we should sit down and write up our remembrances before they were forgotten. Well, I sat down and started typing, and I have been typing ever since. I love getting up at 0400 hours with another great idea. I set aside five years to write my first book, a book partially based upon my personal experiences. And that brings me up to the present where my first book, "Cold War Burning," was released on May 29th, 2010. I look forward to marketing and promoting my book here and elsewhere. I am already into my second writing project, working on a sequel which is based on Iraq and how friendship survive time and wars.

My biggest achievement is watching my four grand children growing into young adults. The other certificates and awards hanging on the walls pale in comparison.
