Having been here for a wee while, and had rather a lot of strange(unusual) things happen to me, I can't recall having actually done anything worth mentioning. I have always been a dreamer - an excellent listener/watcher! A wartime education was only elementary, and the only thing in that direction since is a continuing (6 years)  membership of a Creative Writing class. And this where 'Rambusco' originated. A short fantasy tale for homework, which growed and growed! I eventually became a Decorator employing a number of lads, most went on to stay in the trade - some self employed. I acquired a set of Northumbrian Small Pipes a few years ago and still play - but not many fast ones now! Made a set which now has a Scottish Small pipe chanter. This does not have the sweet sound of the Northumbrian but has the distinct, slightly hoarse sound - different - still enjoyable. Best till last - I married, and she still puts up with me, and we have a son, daughter, two grandsons and a granddaughter - but no dogs or cats!

I'm sure there should be something somewhere - apart from a few medals for the Great North Run!
