In the pursuit of becoming the most eclectic female writer in the mid-west I've written: plays (children and adult) one acts and full-lenght; two children's books; a libretto for a musical, screenplays, teleplays, a book of lyrics, short stories, and the first novel in a series titled the music mystery series. I'm usually working on several projects at a time. To relax I design and make one-of-a kind artisan handmade leather bags. My influences are many, too many to list. Novel, "Be Careful of What You Wish 4", published Oct 2009 with two songs inspired by the book making it the first novel with music. Four Illinois Art Council Grants, five Chicago Coumminity Arts Grants (CAAP), three NEA Grants, two matching grants, and several miscellaneous grants for screenplays. Produced multiple readings and workshops. Children's trilogy toured for three months, and several plays written on consignment were performed, one at McCormick Place for United Negro College Fund.
