Information
Realizing there weren’t enough roles written for women, I began writing plays then the lure of travel produced articles about cities, towns and countries I fell in love with, found fascinating or completely different from anyplace I had ever experienced before. An overheard phrase, an interesting comment, a person’s life that touched me, led to short stories and my memories of actors, actresses and shows finally took over and I wrote Scene Stealer, a cozy mystery about Miss Augusta Weidenmaier, a retired schoolteacher who, after a chance encounter on the subway,is determined to help the police in the search for missing 9-year-old child actor Kevin Corcoran.
