Lou speaks and writes on his expertises: death phobia and baby boomers. His book Clown Town chronicles growing pains and laughs concerning a boy, Pudgie, struggling to find a place in 1950s south Chicago. He retired from teaching High School English after 33 years and formerly coached, directed, and participated as a triathlete. The Warming Sicilian Son, BrickHouse Books, is now available on Amazon.com. My murder-mystery-inspired-by-a-true-story is tentatively scheduled for publication in October of this year.  

Lou also holds a B.S. in Journalism, an M.A. in Education and a CSA in Curriculum. He is an active member of the Chicago Writers’ Association and the Italian American Writers’ Association in New York.
