Cherie Karo Schwartz has been sharing spirit-filled tales of wishes, wit and wisdom across the USA  and abroad for 44 years, with audiences of all ages, from children through  elder adults. With a BA in English and an MA in Developmental Theatre, she draws from world wisdom to create and recreate stories that enter the heart of our wisdom.  Cherie began writing poetry when she was four years old, and has never stopped creating poetry, personal tales, original stories, stories in folktale-mode, midrashim (stories helping to explain the inner world of the Torah), and more. Her three books have garnered awards and attention worldwide: MY LUCKY DREIDEL, THE KIDS' CATALOG OF PASSOVER, and CIRCLE SPINNING, and JEWISH TURNING AND RETURNING  TALES (a compilation of her stories, poetry, and modern midrashim from the past twenty-five years). Cherie is an internationally acclaimed teacher and Storyteller, sharing stories, performances, Keynote speeches, training and coaching storytellers, life coaches and public speakers. Her written stories have been used in classrooms, services, synagogues, interfaith settings, and for teachers and students throughout the country.  Her first book sold out at 25,000 copies worldwide.
