I am the author of The Magical Horses, the first part of novel-trilogy, a story of adventure, mystery and hope. Suited for kids 7 - 12, as well as for anyone beyond that. A great classic book to inspire, to laugh, get excited about, and to get moved by! My influences? Don't know, I better let the reader decide that or the critiques...  I grew up with the rich tradition of German and European fairy tales, and stories told by my grandfather. From early age on I went out in nature, either with my grandfather, or with my parents. I observed the world around me in detail, which can be found again in the way I write. I am telling stories, stories with a message, stories that wrap the reader like a comforting hug, making them look inside and then at the world around them - finding truth, finding passion and love in everything they do. I just write - it comes to me, and I just have to write it down - the same way pictures come to me I have to paint - it is all creation for me, and I am happy if I can make a difference for someone in this world through what I do. For me it was a big achievement to have received a personal thank you note from President Clinton, and a beautiful e-mail from the personal assistant of H.H. the Dalai Lama, in his name.

Achievements are for me, when I move the reader or listener, see the excitement in them, be it kids or adults.
