My second book is about a boy who has Asperger's Syndrome and is bullied to the point to where he shoots up his school. I have divided the excerpts from it into three parts: Before, during and after the shooting.
The bulk of the collection is eight short stories that are set in yesteryear. The compilation is filled out with four entertaining fantasy pieces and three poems.

Information
Joy Lee Rutter moved to New Hampshire from Florida in September of 1996. During her difficult adjustment period to a new environment, she began keeping a journal. Eventually, it led into writing essays and she could not stop writing. Many of her essays have appeared on her websites.
Joy Lee began writing A Disturbing Presence on an impulse. A strange conversation with her step-daughter sparked an idea and she took off with it. Her job in a Rehabilitation facility was the basis for her second book, A Flamboyant Disarray of Dreams. Joy Lee keeps busy with her husband, braiding rugs, mosaic art, and cuddling her cats Mugzi & Li-Lu. Oh, and she's a New England Patriots fan.
