Charmaine Hammond is author of the new book On Toby's Terms, just released September 27, 2010. On Toby's Terms, a book about Charmaine's dog, has just been signed to be a motion picture.  The book is published by Bettie Young Books (www.bettieyoungsbooks.com). Toby the dog gives us much to write about. From learning to put on his own seat belt, making a difference in the lives of many through his visitation at local hospitals and dressing up in a jail uniform to raise money from charity, Toby gives people much to smile about. Toby is quite the media hound, he has a large following on facebook (toby@tobytales.com), a large and growing database, and through his website www.tobytales.com, Toby sends weekly PAWsitive inspirations about life lessons to his subscribers. Toby and Charmaine are a volunteer team at a local hospital, Toby is trained as a pet assisted therapy dog. He has also helped raise thousands of dollars for various charities and now accompanies Charmaine on many of her speaking engagements. At events, Toby pawprints the On Toby's Terms book with a special stamp and puts in his own special signature, two loud barks! Currently, Charmaine and Toby are on an On Toby's Terms book tour, conducting "dog-author" book signings throughout the US and Canada.Charmaine lives in Alberta, Canada, with her husband, Christopher, and their precocious dog, Toby, who--when he is not rearranging their house, works as a volunteer pet assisted therapy dog

Charmaine has been nominated for RBC Woman Entrepreneur of the Year, was Chosen as a Business Hero and one of Edmonton's 27 Influencers. Toby her dog is the recipient of the Chimo Reese Award.
