Born and raised in Minnesota, Laura James worked in the production and recording departments at the Twin Cities Public Television Station. After being tasked with creating, writing, and editing a variety of projects, her interest in writing increased. She changed her goal, and focused on writing whenever she wasn’t working or in school, and eventually fulfilled her dream of becoming an author.     Laura James currently writes children’s fiction that marries entertainment with education. These lighthearted stories provide a user-friendly format allowing young readers easy access to word definitions. This additional content delights and empowers children as they read without timely disruptions.
