Information
I write novels and plays. Classical plays, such as, King Oedipus, Antigone, Hamlet, King Lear, Othello had lasting influence on my thinking and writing. I am also deeply interested in writers, such as, V. Nabokov, G. Flaubert, H. Miller, and J. Genet who explore human sexuality and ecstasy with unblinking eyes.
Like these writers I am interested in understanding the aspirations of human soul and its inevitable demise. I believe there is a tragic grandeur in that struggle, not to aquiese to the human limitations, at least in our hearts.
I would like to continue to explore in intimate terms our awareness of our human limitaions and how we continue to aspire beyond our capacity. If out ambitions shriveled to only manageable proportions, it would be miserable planet to live in..
I'd like to continue to aspire to create silky, sensuous narratives with a spellbinding center.
