Journalism graduate of the University of Maryland (1971), former sports writer and sports editor of a daily newspaper, worked for 30 years Federal government human resources while doing free-lance writing on the side. Two major scholarly articles were "How One Man's Pen Changed the World," an analysis of reformer Martin Luther's German Bible in terms of its huge influence on the King James Bible, published in Christianity Today Magazine in 1983, and "The Papyrus Ipuwer, Egyptian Version of the Plagues," a new interpretation of the document thought by many to be an Egyptian version of the Exodus story written by Moses in the Old Testament Book of Exodus, published in The Velikovskian in 1997. Began researching William Gillette in 1998 and has now published full biography, profusely illustrated.
