I was born the youngest of 9 in the quaint little township of Rich Square, NC. During my early childhood my parents moved to New Jersey; where I was raised.  The person who influenced me the most was my mother, who taught me the value of integrity and discipline, and my high school english teacher.. who told me "if you work toward your dreams they can come true, but first you must have dreams".  In 1995, after being employed with a major insurance company for 25 years, I left the company and with my husband as my partner, started my own Medical Billing Company.  Having to wear different hats at work turns out be quite challenging, but I am glad that I made the decesion.  Shortly after becoming an entrepreneur my son became very ill - his physicians gave  him 24 hours to live.  It was during this eye-opening experience of trying to cope with the feelings of helplessness that I was inspired to write this true story "The Power of Faith...A Mothers Prayers for Her Dying Son". It was therapeutic for me and continues to influence my perspectives on  life.
