I drafted the first Vampire Apocalypse book in or around 2002, but this  post-apocalyptic military horror saga story had been fermenting and evolving since my late teens (and that’s more than a few years!).    Vampire Apocalypse: A World Torn Asunder was my first published novel and I have been thrilled and humbled by the reception it has received on both sides of the Atlantic by reviewers and readers alike.   And, it's under option and in development as a major movie.  The second book in the series, Vampire Apocalypse: Descent into Chaos, is now released. So far, there are three books in the series (third one, VA: Fallout due out in 2009) and  Vampire Apocalypse books are published in the US and UK by KHP Industries under their Black Death Books imprint. My novel The Estuary (due out in 2009 by Permuted Press) was inspired by a trip a few years back to the beautiful town of Dungarvan in Southern Ireland.  We were on a family weekend away visiting some friends,  It was in early May and the sun was shining and the weather was warm - all in all an idyllic place to be.  And, I thought, what a wonderful setting for a horror story... When I’m not writing, I work as a specialist consultant for a mutinational telco, run around after my three children and relax by playing my electric and acoustic guitars (not both at the same time though - I'm not that good) dreaming of being a rock star! A movie script has been penned by Richard Finney and Franklin Guerrero, based on the first VA book, Vampire Apocalypse: A World Torn Asunder.
Their adaptation led to a recent partnership on the project with producer, Robert Lawrence (Die Hard: With a Vengence, Clueless, The Last Castle). Currently the project is being represented by the Creative Artists Agency (CAA) who is packaging the project for the studios.
