I was born and raised in a small town in North Dakota.  Without giving away my birth date I will say that I remember when radio provided the entertainment.  Jack Benny, Amos and Andy and the Shadow kept us listening.  Then Eisenhower became president and along came black and white TV.  Jack Benny made the transition, Ed Sullivan ruled Sunday nights, and Cookie combed his hair on 77 Sunset Strip. The Cold War was real and scary.  We practiced nuclear bomb drills and hiding under our desks.  Not that it would have done us any good but it made the teachers feel better.  In college during the Age of Aquarius, Kennedy was assassinated, Armstrong walked on the moon, and color TV brought us Star Trek.  After law school, I was and officer in the U. S. Army and served in Vietnam.  There ducking for cover was very useful.  After the service I went to school for an MBA and began a career.  I have worked as an executive for major aerospace companies and owned my own small business and traveled the world. I am married to a wonderful woman who gave me twin sons who are now lawyers and businessmen. Through it all I have had the dream to write books that would entertain readers.  I have been fortunate enough to finally realize that dream
