Ever since school days I have wanted to write, I wrote a book while in school but it is now lost, my English teacher kept it, along with a short illustrated story I wrote about my pet cats! I spent time in the WRAF, then married and had a family, writing occasionally for my own pleasure.
I live in a small village in North Yorkshire, UK, with my second husband Jim. I have three children, four grandchildren, two great granddaughters and two great grandsons. Jim is American, ex US Navy, he has two daughters living in Hawaii, one grandson and one granddaughter. My two daughters live in Scotland and Hereford, UK and my son lives near us. .
Update September 2025
I now have two great granddaughters, the youngest Skye is 10 years old and the oldest Sophie recently graduated from University in Criminology. My second great grandson Max was born in October 2017 so he is now 8 years old. One of my granddaughters emigrated to Canada several years ago, and is working as a Geo-physicist, and she has now become a Canadian Citizen.
Jim lost his eldest daughter on 21st December 2011 to a heart attack.
I have not written anything for a long time, I was spending most of my time researching our family trees.
I renewed my membership on Authorsden recently after a long absence and I haven't written anything for a long time except for today 17th September 2025 when I uploaded 'As the Crow's Fly' written this morning.
